BEST PIZZA IN TOWN

Service: If you like last disinterested teenagers who would rather text than take care of customers, then, Rome's is the place...because that's who they hire...as a practice. To the managers...you get what you pay for when it comes to staff.Food Quality: Teenagers prep, cook, and serve the food. Of course, there really isn't much to it all, but cleanliness is not the priority.Food in general: WORST Italian fare EVER! and I'm not just trolling. Their sauce that they use for pasta, pizzas, calzones, and the like...basically comes straight out of the can....no cooking, no prepping, just pure canned tomato. yum! (joking) Their salads are wilted and old. eat at your own risk. finally, the pasta itself is days old and reheated in water. It's hard to find good Italian food in SA....but Rome's is the bottom of the barrel.

Where we live it's our go to for pizza. We just wish they would deliver out here.

People want value. Unfortunately, Rome's is not that place. $29.00 for one large pizza. Half pepperoni other half cheese. Portion of lasagna and a side salad. The sizes you get for the price are inadequate. I could have a Stouffer's lasagna the whole week for my entire family.Because honestly they taste the same.

Toppings galore on the meat lovers. White pizza had good flavor. Friendly employees.

Good lunch specials with two stromboli’s and a drink for $7.50. Got in and out real quick because the place was pretty empty. The only feedback I have is to change the to-go boxes from styrofoam to cardboard like the location off of De Zavala. Overall, satisfied with the experience.

Went there tonight - we'll never go back. The place was dead - we were the only customers. Those behind the counter seemed bored. The pizza took 30 min to prepare. Salads were poor. Pizza was very plain. I really wanted a beer with my pizza. Oops... sorry, they don't have beer. In the end we spent close to $40 for a totally unsatisfying experience.

Pizza was not as good as the one that closed down on culebra and 1604. Cheese was not fully cooked.

The first time I visited with my son for lunch and we had a great pizza and friendly visit. I was excited to take my wife there for dinner a few days ago. It was late around 9 ish and I ordered a calzone and the wife ordered chicken alfredo. They came back a few minutes later to tell us they were out of alfredo sauce so we said that's is fine so they added extra cheese to it. My calzone was very well done on the outside so a little hard to eat. They gave us free garlic bread for the mistake on the chicken alfredo dish. I will likely try again before saying anything negative about the place.

Super great place. ..Tony worked with me for my family graduation dinner. Kayla was super fabulous. The food was fantastic

Love Rome's pizza! Can't say enough about the Taj Mahal pizza, it's amazing. Sometimes I'll just order a personal cheese with a refreshing Salad! So yummy😋😋😋😋😋 They get five yummy faces!

Best pizza and service in town!

We wanted Italian food that wasn't too pricey. The Spaghetti with meatballs, Fettuccine with chicken and the garlic bread were delicious! When we picked up the food was hot and the service was excellent! We will be back!

I love the crust of this pizza, it's crunchy on the outside but still soft and fluffy on the inside. They have great toppings and the staff was very helpful and nice. I will definitely be coming back!

Wow! What a 5 star experience! I ordered a cauliflower Mediterranean pizza and it was the absolute best pizza I have ever had. Not to mention the super easy ordering and fast delivery experience I had. If you don't try this place, you are truly missing out!

Our closest Rome's closed. This was our first visit to this location. Their products are amazing. The restaurant itself is very clean.

Pizza was made fresh whenever the dough had a cardboard texter and flavor. Will not go back. Service was good yet the tables were dirty and it was not very busy.

Excellent pizza, love the crust, had the extravaganza. Spaghetti & meatballs delicious. Loved the Antipasto salad too.

$9 tiny salad made with cheap iceburg lettuce. At least use some romaine or better if you're gonna charge that much. I'll stick to bill Miller's for my salad.

Pizza under cooked cheese not even melted cold No feta cheese on salad lettus & olives with a tiny slice of tomatoe Don't waste your money seems like they would at least try to keep you as a customer.

Rome's Pizza in Helotes was some of the best Pizza I've had in a long time. Very nice staff that took care of us right away. Great place to hang out and watch some sports on the TV's. They even had a Gluten-Free Menu for my wife with Pizza's, Pastas, Salads, and Sandwiches. We will back to enjoy the rest of the Menu soon.

Specialty pizza sounded great, but I ordered via delivery so by the time it came it was dry and sparce. I'm sure it's good, probably best eaten at the restaurant.

Whoa! This is not the same Rome's that I remember! The pizza was perfection! I have not had a crust so crispy yet perfectly chewy. I can't do it justice with words. Last time I had a pizza this good was when I lived in New York City. My friend had the salad and she said it was amazing. If you don't like a generous helping of dressing, ask for it on the side. I had the Lunch special so a bowl of soup came with it for free. Excellent tomato bisque. The dessert looked really good, but the tummy had no more room. Everything was clean, well appointed. Will definitely be back!

The owners here are great. You can tell when the wife is working the phone. She's amazing and congenial and smart. I hope the husband is the same. But, truly, my orders for delivery are NEVER right. The food is good, but if you're ordering gyros, request double meat. Pizza too. This place isn't very generous unless it's french fries. Four stars for convenience and intention. The delivery workers are nice to deal with.

The food was absolutely AMAZING!! But what truly mattered to my family and especially my daughter who turned 6 years old today, was that they were able to come through w the special request of aligning the pepperonis to make a 6 for her 6th birthday! You should have seen her smile when she opened the pizza!! You have earned a loyal customer that’s for sure! Thank you for all you do!

Great Stromboli and Pizza we had a birthday dinner there with 25 people and Raul, owner was very accommodating. We were all well taken care of and the food was delicious! Large salad is enough for 2 people.

Filthy litterers. We used to order pizza from here fairly regularly until the company decided to litter our neighborhood with their flyers, ignoring no soliciting signs. FYI South Flo at HEB offers comparable pizza.

Some friends and I had an awesome time at Rome’s Pizza! As you can see from the photo I posted they use a generous amount of toppings and plenty of cheese. It’s one of the best pizzas I have tasted in a long time. We also had salad before our pizzas. The ingredients were fresh and the caesar dressing was just delicious. The service is amazing too! The employees were polite and attentive. We will definitely be back soon 😄🍕🥗

Horrible experience. Placed an order online and recieved target delivery of an hour. 1 hr and 25 min later I call to check in and I'm told it's on the way. I call back another 25 min later when no food shows up and I'm told that one of the drivers broke down and deliveries were way behind. They still hadnt sent my order over an hour and 45 min after placing the order. They knew it was an issue all night and didnt have the courtesy to let customers know. I guess letting customers wait for 2+ hours is satisfactory to their management. Food is good bit I've had too many issues besides this one to recommend them. Very disappointed.

My Daughter was hungry for spaghetti so this was the closest place that had it to go. We decided to order a few more things and make it a dinner. I ordered through Google for the first time, which I guess goes through some service called Slice. It was pretty simple. When I got there they couldn't find my order or see that I paid but it was cleared up pretty quick. It's a nice small little pizza place and seemed pretty clean inside. I only had one issue which was they forgot one of my desserts so I had to drive back and get it, not a big deal, they apologized, things happen.The pizza at first looked kinda of plain but turned out to be good. The crust is crispy which is nice. My Daughter liked the spaghetti. Nothing special about it, just normal spaghetti. The pistachio baclava was amazing. Tiramisu was a tiny slice and kind of dry, I don't think it's worth how much it costs. Overall the kiddos and myself were satisfied with the food.

Since the incident of incorrect order and lack of answering the phone I’ve ordered twice and not had an issue. Online ordering is getting easier and accurate. Food has been delivered quickly and, except for burnt crust on one order, has been perfect.

Said they will deliver at 3:25 still arent here and they wont answer the phone, never gonna order from again.

This pizza is better then your regular delivery places. I wouldn't say it's number one. My family does love the pastas though, so it's a great place to get everything for everyone and have everyone satisfied. I met the manager and have to say these are some good friendly people.

Great food fast service friendly people will definently be back
